This policy explains what information Study Bunny Games, LLC ("we", "us") collects through our game, Learn Japanese RPG: Hiragana Forbidden Speech (called "Forbidden Speech" on Google Play), and through our website, studybunnygames.com. The game
The game does not collect any personal information. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it does not send anything about you to us.
- Saves and settings stay on your device, and we never receive them. On Android, uninstalling the game deletes them.
- Device backups: if backup is turned on for your Android device, Google may include the game's saves in your device backup. Google handles this, and we can't see it.
- Buying the full game on Google Play: Google processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. The game receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play and keeps it on your device to unlock the full game. Google gives us limited order information (such as the order number, date, price and country) for accounting, taxes and refunds. Google's privacy policy covers the payment.
- Steam: if you got the game on Steam, Valve handles your Steam account, your purchase and any Steam Cloud saves under Valve's privacy policy.
- Links: the game links to our Discord server. Discord, like any other site you open from the game or our website, has its own privacy policy.
- Messages and bug reports: if you email us or post on our Discord, we see what you send and use it only to reply and to fix the game.
Our website
- Newsletter: if you sign up, we collect your email address. Mailchimp stores it and sends the newsletter for us. Mailchimp also records whether you open our emails and which links you click, so we can see what's useful. We only email you about our games, and every email has an unsubscribe link. - Google Analytics: uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are read. It collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. We only look at totals, not at individual visitors. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel: tells Meta when you visit our website, so we can measure and show ads on Facebook and Instagram. If you're logged in to Facebook, Meta may link the visit to your account. You can change this in your Facebook ad settings; see Meta's privacy policy.
- Server logs: the web server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
Who we share information with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with the services named on this page (Google, Valve, Discord, Mailchimp and Meta), which handle it under their own privacy policies, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Analytics: for the limited period set in our Google Analytics account.
- Emails and Discord messages: only as long as we need them to help you.
Children
The game is made for ages 13 and up. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our website. If you think a child under 13 has signed up for our newsletter, email us and we'll delete their address.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can also ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@studybunnygames.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
